A Middlefield woman, Christy C, has reported that her craft project has shown signs of demonic possession. Christy initially believed she was just dealing with the normal challenges she encounters with any craft project. This project was different. First, the project was supposed to be simple. Just put a candle on a hanging basket. What could be simpler? Yet at each step, there were strange problems. First, the paint wouldn’t adhere to the basket. The candle would defy any attempts to get mounted to the basket. The hanging hook wouldn’t hold up the basket. With each frustration, anger mounted. The afternoon project turned into a days then weeks. The anger continued, affecting Christy’s family.

In time, her pets began to avoid her. Family members stopped talking. Appliances stopped working and other successful house craft projects started falling apart. Only when a friend suggested that this sounded like a case of possession did Christy realized something bigger was at play. Eventually, Christy finished her candle baskets, but now paranormal investigators are trying to determine the exact cause of the darkness surrounding Christy’s home. Once the initial investigation is complete, the investigators will begin ridding the home of the malignant forces at play.

In the meantime, Christy’s family is looking for ways to heal and being life again. Christy said she really wants to do more craft projects, but she won’t touch another glue gun until the dark spirits are gone. Her kids never liked arts and crafts, and have vowed to avoid these projects altogether.
